Your Role & Responsibilities
As an SDET Technical Lead at Wipro, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through strong automation practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and maintaining test automation solutions
- Leading automation activities within Agile teams
- Performing API automation and database validation
- Supporting continuous testing through CI/CD pipelines
- Debugging issues and providing practical solutions
- Driving delivery independently and mentoring team members
- Collaborating with development, QA, and business teams
You will play a key role in improving quality, speed, and reliability of applications.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in software testing and automation
- Strong hands-on experience in automation using Java/J2EE or C#
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in automation testing
- Good experience with Selenium WebDriver and test frameworks
- Experience in API automation (REST-based tools)
- Hands-on experience in Agile testing environments
- Knowledge of database testing and SQL
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, GitHub, Jenkins
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery
Good to Have:
- Manual testing experience for web applications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
