Income tax Appellate Tribunal was the first department in the tribunalization. It was established in 25/January/1941 under the income tax act, the branches of the department was located in the 27 cities across all over the India.

Recently on 22/October/2024 the Income tax Appellate Tribunal department has posted a notification regarding the recruitment for the no of positions in the Mumbai branch. Candidates who are willing to make a better career in the field of the income tax department and as a collector can apply for the given vacancy.

The candidates can apply using the offline application mode from the date of notification 22/October/2024 till the 45th day of the application which is around 5/December/2024.

Details of job – The recruitment is for the two different positions
- senior private secretory
- private secretory

NO of vacancies – There are total of 35 vacancies differentiated into multiple category wise positions.
Required Educational qualification –
- Degree from any recognized University
- minimum Writing speed of 120 words per minute.
- basic knowledge of the computer.

Initial payment – The initial payment
- for senior private secretory – 47600 – 151100 rupees
- for private secretory- 44900 – 142400 rupees
Experience – Not required

Age limit – for the candidate applying age should not exceed more than 35 years.

Application process for income tax appellate recruitment
- The candidates, who wiling for application for two of the posts, should to submit only one application. A single examination conataining syllabus given above will be taken for both the vacancies, and, depending on the rank acquired in the category wise merit list, the post shall be offered.
- candidate should fill the application in the prescribed manner, in English only.

a) class 10th matriculate certificate for the proof of the DOB.
b) Graduation certificate
c) English writing Certificate from recognized institution (with clear mention of requisite speed of 120 w.p.m.).
d) for the candidate applied through the minority certificates should submit copy of the caste certificate.
e) Non-Creamy Layer certificate in respect of EWS and OBC issued by the government.
f) Income certificate of the current year & Asset Certificate in respect of EWS issued by the Government.
