PM INTERNSHIP SCHEME 1.55 LAKHS APPLICATIONS IN A DAY

The PM internship scheme is an internship provider scheme launched by the finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman during the presentation of the union budget 2024. The primary aim of the PM internship scheme is to provide the internship for the 1 crore student willing to work in the mnc and government sectors, internship is to provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of India the Government of India introduced the PM internship scheme 2024 .

As per the announcement by the finance minister of India a total of 1 crore youth will avail the benefits under this scheme. on the starting date of application 1.55 students, and graduates have registered. The internship will begin from 2/December/2024 in this scheme an intern will get a monthly financial assistance of 5000 for a year and a one time grant of 6000.

Eligibility criteria

Applicant should be indian
Age 21-24
Should be unemployed
Candidate should have SSC/HSC/Bachelor’s degree/ITI/Diploma

Ineligibility criteria

Employed person can not apply
NAPS and NATS apprentice student cannot apply
The candidate graduated from a reputed institute like IIT/NIT/IISC/IIM are not eligible
Family income should be < 800000
Any family member of government employee cannot apply for scheme

Scheme portal open on 3/October for companies they can register for recruitment of intern till 11/October/2024
Start for application – 12/October/2024
programme will be of 1 year and stipend given on monthly basis
