Job Role: Quality Assurance Engineer
The Quality Assurance Engineer II role focuses on end-to-end testing of Alexa features across multiple platforms.
You will be working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to make sure Alexa features are high quality, stable, and user friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Alexa features on Android, iOS, and other device platforms
- Perform manual testing and automation testing
- Create and maintain test suites for:
- Voice interactions
- Text-based interactions
- Mobile-specific user flows
- Perform cross-platform testing
- Validate AI-powered conversational experiences
- Ensure quality of Alexa+ generative AI features
- Work as QA lead on medium to large projects
Basic Qualifications
Amazon is looking for candidates with:
- Strong experience in manual testing
- Good experience in automation testing
- Experience as QA lead on medium or large size projects
- Good understanding of software testing lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with below skills will have advantage:
- Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in test planning and test strategy
- Ability to gather test requirements and define quality metrics
