About the Role – Solution Architect

Apple Platform Services team is looking for an experienced Solution Architect who can design and lead customer engagement and contact center platforms.

In this role, you will work with:

  • Apple Services
  • Contact Centers
  • Apple Stores & Genius Bars
  • Repair Centers and Depots
  • Mobile carriers and enterprise teams

Key Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect at Apple, you will:

  • Lead brainstorming sessions to understand business and technical requirements
  • Analyze system impact for new features and projects
  • Design high-level and low-level architecture
  • Build prototypes and validate concepts
  • Deliver end-to-end scalable solutions
  • Work closely with engineering and business teams
  • Present architecture to leadership and executives
  • Support testing, deployment, and production teams
  • Create product roadmaps and new use cases
  • Handle multiple global projects at the same time

Required Skills & Qualifications

Apple is looking for candidates with strong technical background.

Must Have Skills

  • 8+ years of industry experience
  • Strong software engineering and solution architecture experience
  • Hands-on experience with distributed and event-based systems
  • Experience with Microservices, CI/CD, and container orchestration
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Java
    • Spring Boot
    • Kubernetes
    • Docker
    • Kafka
    • Object-Oriented Programming

Contact Center Experience (Preferred)

  • ACD, IVR, CTI, Dialers
  • Workforce Management systems
  • Cloud contact center platforms
  • Omnichannel communication
  • CRM integrations

Education Requirement

  • BE / BTech degree
  • Or equivalent technical experience

Preferred Skills

  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Leadership and influencing skills
  • Ability to explain technical ideas to business users
  • Basic knowledge of Machine Learning concepts
