Mukhyamantri vayoshri yojna is the scheme which is administrated by the Department of social justice and special assistance, this scheme is recently launched by the government of Maharashtra. The scheme was launched by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on October 9, 2024, stated that this scheme provides one of the copies of Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojna. The Maharashtra government recently launched the Vayoshri Yojna for the financial assistance of older citizens.

The scheme is designed to provide financial assistance and enhance the quality of life for financially unstable older citizens in Maharashtra. all the eligible older citizens of Maharashtra will receive 3000 rupees anually. The financial assistance of rupees 3000 will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the older citizens of Maharashtra.
