The Opportunity
We are looking for a CAD Engineer (Level 3) to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. This role is ideal for a mechanical design professional who enjoys research and development work and wants to contribute to meaningful engineering projects.
What You Will Do
As a CAD Engineer, you will play an important role in designing and improving mechanical components and systems. Your work will help bring new ideas to life and ensure high-quality engineering solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing mechanical parts and systems from concept to final release
- Working on 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks
- Managing design data using PDM systems and maintaining version control
- Creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting engineering change requests
- Applying GD&T principles correctly in designs
- Performing basic design analysis using FEA tools
- Following standard welding guidelines and design best practices
- Communicating clearly with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress
What We’re Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of experience in CAD modeling and mechanical design
- Strong skills in SolidWorks and mechanical drafting
- Basic understanding of analysis tools and manufacturing standards
- Good communication skills in English
- A curious mindset and willingness to learn and improve
