Role Overview – Data Engineer (Analyst)
As a Data Engineer, you will help build and manage data systems using Microsoft Azure. Your work will support businesses by making data organized, reliable, and easy to use for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage data solutions using Azure Cloud
- Create and maintain data pipelines to move data from different sources into systems
- Work with Azure tools like Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric
- Write and improve SQL queries to ensure smooth data processing
- Support data storage and reporting systems
- Monitor data workflows and improve performance when handling large amounts of data
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Experience working with Azure data platforms
- Hands-on experience in handling, transforming, and managing data
- Basic understanding of data storage and reporting systems
- Ability to work with different types of data
- Knowledge of data quality and reporting tools is an added advantage
